This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship in the structural elements of the home, such as footings, bearing walls, beams, and trusses.
Here's a breakdown of the 10-year warranty:
- Coverage: Repairs or replacements for defects in structural elements to restore their load-bearing function and bring the home to a safe condition.
- Duration: 10 years after the closing date of the home.
- Important Note: You must notify Pulte Homes in writing within 30 days after the expiration of the 10-year coverage to be eligible for repairs
- 5 year coverage on various types of water infiltration and internal leaks
- 2 year coverage on the workability of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other mechanical systems
- 1 year coverage on materials and workmanship
- Warranty is transferrable
